Kaylee becomes part of our family  

Date: October/November 1999

In September 1999 we moved into our first home.  Part of the reason we wanted a house so bad was because we wanted a dog so bad.  Doug wanted a big dog, Karen wanted a furry lap dog... so we decided on a Golden Retriever which is a big furry lap dog.

Here are some pictures of Kaylee when she was just a puppy. 

	Here she is at five weeks old, running up to Doug.  She knew and we knew that she would be coming home with us.
Soooo tiny.  Look at that cute face!
	The first day we took Kaylee home we gave her a bath.  She was a little scared and maybe chilli when we took her out of the tub.  So we wrapped her up snug in a towel and she slept like a baby.
Ahhhh, Fall.  I love playing in the leaves.
	This is Kaylee at six weeks hanging out in her bed.  This was given to her by a friend of ours who is also a dog lover, Robin Chakravarti.
Kaylee's first woobie was this hippo.  She took it everywhere she went.
	She just loves playing with the hippo... chewing on it's tail was one of her favourite past times.
Here she is sitting up in front of the fireplace.  What a cutie!
