Karen
I
grew up in St. Julien's, a small community on the Great Northern Peninsula of
Newfoundland. I attended St. Joseph's All Grade School in Croque
and later went on to Memorial University of Newfoundland
where I attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.
In the fall of 1996 I moved to Chicago, Illinois where I was employed as a
Computer Systems Analyst.
In January of 1998 I moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta
where I am currently employed by the City
of Grande Prairie as a Computer Systems Integrator. My job here entails software
integration, database development and some networking.

Doug
I
grew up in Shearstown, a community next to Bay
Roberts, Newfoundland. I attended
St.
Marks School in Shearstown and did high school at Ascension Collegiate
in Bay Roberts. I began my post-secondary schooling at Memorial University of Newfoundland
but later attended the Salvation Army Grace General Hospital School of
Nursing where I attained my Registered Nursing diploma.
In January of 1998 I moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta
where I am currently employed by the Mistahia
Health Region at the local QEII Hospital as an OR/Recovery Nurse.
