Right now we are proudly owned by two beautiful, fun-loving
Golden Retrievers.
Kaylee's Story
Hi, I'm Kaylee. I was born on Sept
3rd, 1999. From what I hear I was both a planned for and a spur of the
moment gift in my family's lives. They knew they wanted a dog and after tons of
research they knew it just had to be a Golden Retriever. I
think that was a very good choice.
They had just purchased and moved into their first
home and luckily for me it had a fireplace. Cuz one Sunday they were looking thru the paper for firewood
and saw an ad for Golden puppies.
They came to visit me with the intention
to 'just have a look'. But it really was love at first
site. On October 15th I went home with my new
family. I have been their Golden
Girl ever since. Every now and then they call me Rose... not
sure what that is all about.
When they brought home my new brother
Okie I was not too pleased at first. I loved the attention of
being an only dog. But, all in all, he's not that bad... at least now I can
get into no good and I have someone to blame (woof, woof).

Okie's Story
Hey there, it's me Okie. I was born on June 1st,
2001 in the Okanagan Valley of BC, hence the name Okie. Unfortunately I
was not as lucky as Kaylee when it came to picking the best family for me.
Don't get me wrong, my first family loved me dearly but they were just not home
enough to care for me. Trust me, I am a handful at the best of times.
My new family had been planning to get a second Golden in the
Spring of 2003. They researched local breeders and knew they wanted a male,
lucky for me.
They heard that someone was trying to
find a good home for a 10 month old male Golden. It was a year
earlier than planned but they were ready to get a second Golden.
They very much wanted to give this Golden boy that they had heard so
much about a home.
In the middle of a snowstorm my new
family came to pick me up on April 5th, 2002. Our first night
together was spent in a hotel room, I really live it up.
Took my new sister Kaylee some time to
get use to me. But now we are inseparable and have so much
fun playing rope together.
I think I have finally found my 'soul family'.
